Teeth like pearls make a perfect smile. It is the hardest matter in our body. It is surrounded by calcium. This is a good source of study for archaeologists because teeth do not easily decay so it can remain in this world for a long time. Surprisingly, though it is a hard substance it could be the worst trouble maker to you.

The aging of a person is directly seen by the skin likewise teeth are the next immediate thing that shows your age to others. The first falling of a milk tooth is a special incident in a kid’s life because they feel as they have grown up. Hence the falling of a tooth of a kid or an elder expresses ageing but it could be a happy incident to the kids but not for the elders.


So when we consider about this tooth takes a special part. That means though we do not bring teeth when we are born or die, teeth becomes a jewel that we use in our life time. Therefore everybody cares so much about teeth but nobody couldescape from toothache.

What is toothache? 
            It is the pain in the tooth occurred when the nerve of the tooth is irritated.

What are the causes for toothache?

·        Loss of  tooth
·        Sensitivity of teeth
·        Some climatic changes
·        This can occur as a side effect in cases such as ear pain, sinuses and even heart problems.

Simple home remedies for toothache

Ø Saltwater rinse
Rinse your mouth with some salt and medium warm water.
Ø Cold compress
At times when you have toothache your face would be swollen. You could place an ice pack of your cheek to reduce pain.
Ø Ice
When you have a sore tooth, rub some ice on your hand on the same side of the body of the paining tooth. Rub the ice between your thumb finger and forefinger for about seven minutes.

Ø Clove oil
Soak a piece of cotton in clove oil and place it on the sore area or the tooth.
Ø Sesame oil
Massage your gums using your forefinger for a few minutes with sesame oil.
Ø Garlic
Chew a piece of garlic when you have toothache but it could give an awful breath.
Ø Cinnamon oil
Soak a piece of cotton in cinnamon oil and place it on the sore area or the tooth.
